I did not expect Thomas to be drafted. At all. It’s great for him, but in my opinion both MBA and Holiday are better pro material. And after last night, I’ve completely given up on Seattle media. Everywhere I went, the Times and PI, etc., all I could read about was how a UW player was the NBA’s version of Mr. Irrelevant. Almost no mention of Klay Thompson, a state college player, who went NUMBER ELEVEN |

I didnt think IT would have been drafted either. All the talk about him going in the 1st round was crazy. I really thought MBA would have been drafted, the Lakers should have picked him up instead of drafting a guy that played 3 games in the D-League that averaged .7 points and some other Euro guy that will never play over here. Thats pretty messed up that Klay didnt get any love. Golden State is a good fit for him, they’re going to put up alot of points between Klay, Steph Curry and Monta Ellis. He would have been a good fit with the Suns or Knicks too. Im not surprised that Casto didnt get drafted. |
